With our knowledge and experience in fitting development and manufacture, we can also specially produce butt weld fittings to meet your unique requirements.
Materials and welding
OSTP butt weld fittings are created from tubes, sheet or strip, depending on the fitting design and dimensions.
Our standard stock is mainly based on EN 1.4307, 1.4541, 1.4571, 1.4404 , 1.4432, 1.4462, 1.4547 and 1.4410, but fittings in other grades can be manufactured on request.
Welding Factors
For general use, our fittings are delivered with welding factor z = 0.7 and without special inspection. For fittings used in pressure equipment that require welding factor z = 1.0, we perform special inspection according to EN 10253-4.
